This article provides you with steps to recreate your Outlook profile should it get corrupted. Signs of corrupted profiles can be that your email does don’t sync with Outlook application error such as error 0x800ccc0e.
Step 1 – Close your Outlook client and open your Control Panel.
Step 2 – Click on your Mail icon.
Step 3 – Click on Show Profiles
Step 4 – Click on Add to add a new profile.
- Name your new profile and click OK.
- Follow the prompts to set it up.
Step 4 – Select Always Use this profile then click Apply.
INFO: When opening your Outlook application again it will load your new profile. Should you have a lot of mails stored on the server please allow them to download / Sync before trying to send and receive email.
